A.D dives into the restless loop of burnout, frustration, and the search for peace. With raw lyrics and a pulsing undercurrent, it captures the tension between trying to move forward and feeling stuck in your own head — a late-night anthem for anyone barely holding it together but still pushing on.
The journey of the song reflects the tension of tightly holding anger inside. Repeating a lifetime of conditioning that says, "you need to keep it in, don’t ever let it out".
The band realised that pushing their tension down and holding onto it, hoping that it will disappear, just leads to it coming back to the surface, bigger and stronger until it can’t be kept in anymore. It’s not possible to keep swallowing the chaos and burying it inside.
This is a song the band have been working on for a couple of years, inspired by their individual and collective rage. Sam says, ‘The main drops of the song allow us as musicians to channel our anger and give us the gift of release’.

Named after the classic 90’s Nokia phone, 32 tens are a retro video games and music obsessed indie outfit from the Northwestern UK town of Warrington. Max (Vickers) is the singing one, Sam is the guitar thing and Danny does drums, they continue to write and record music they love to play.
There are no pretences with 32 tens, what you see is what you get, a completely different beast to the polished TV formats that first launched frontman Max Vickers into the public eye or drummer Danny Hall’s previous venture with Busted’s James Bourne and Son of Dork. They are laid back, authentic and full of gritty integrity - dirty indie at its best, with influences from Jamie T, Jack White and The Arctic Monkeys.
Spotify named them as being among the top-ten artists across all of their indie lists alongside the likes of The 1975 and Lewis Capaldi.
Giving incredibly strong live performances and with their streaming stats now running into the millions, they are tipped as ones to watch by many sources including BBC Introducing, This Feeling, Getintothis, Gigslutz and Fred Perry Sub-Culture who described them as, ‘Seriously Funking Good’.

Brilliant live, along with the obvious musical talent, all their personality comes through in their shows. Their first gig was in front of a crowd of over 3000 on the mainstage at Rivfest with Maximo Park and Billy Bragg.
With recent headline dates in Leeds, Liverpool and London and a forthcoming Manchester headline in the pipeline, they are also heading out to perform beyond the Northwest region over the course of the year. Championed by BBC Introducing’s, Dave Monks, they were selected to play his event at Liverpool’s iconic Cavern Club.
With festivals lined up for 2024, past appearances have included Neighbourhood Weekender, Dot to Dot and When in Manchester. At Liverpool’s Sound City, they attracted the biggest crowd the venue saw over the whole event, apparently more than the headliners.
Rivfest is the festival set up in memory of fellow Warringtonians, Viola Beach. Friends of the band, they have played each year to support the work of The River Reeves Foundation.
Supports have included Feet for SJM, Maximo Park, The Zangwills, Prose at Manchester Academy & Max’s former flatmate, Mo Jamil.
Every time that you think that you’re set up
It enters your system and it plays just a little
I’m shit outta luck I’m
Just tryna get mine
Wrap it up in a dark red bow
House on the river and a face in the
mirror you’ve known
Tired and pissed off
I’m just trying to lift off
That feeling there ain’t no way
Sorry I said it everything that I did was late
I’m shit outta luck I’m
Just trying to get my
Mind some rest
Get out stress
Tryna get somewhere else
I’m shit outta luck I’m
Just tryna get my
Every time that you lift your head up
It’s banging in the back of your mind, better get up
Eyes are jet black
Just tryna get back
Now you’re wondering where are my friends
Viewing my house through an LCD lens
I
suppose
Just trying to get my
Mind some rest
Get out stress
Just tryna get somewhere else
I’m shit outta luck I’m
Just tryna get my
Mind some space
Get outta way
Just tryna get some shade
I’m shit outta luck I’m
Just tryna get
Back
Out
So keep it in until you get out
Out
So keep it in until you get out
Now you’re wondering where are my friends
Viewing my house through an LCD lens
I’m shit outta luck I’m
I’m just tryna get my
Mind some rest
Get out stress
Tryna get somewhere else
I’m shit outta luck I’m
Just tryna get my
Mind some space
Get out the way
Just tryna get some shade
I’m shit outta luck I’m
Just tryna get
Back
Out
Space
So keep it in until you get out
